The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) and the visiting Vienna/Goreville Eagles (Vienna, IL), observed Hamilton County's football squad thwart Vienna/Goreville by a tally of 48-20.

The Foxes now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sesser-Valier/Waltonville for a Black Diamond contest on Friday, October 5. Hamilton County will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 37-0 league loss to Chester (Chester, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.
