Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 69-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ballston Spa upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY) to play the Brothers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Brothers come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Christian Brothers Academy won 49-31 in their recent league bout against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY)

Next up, the Patriots play the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Schenectady will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 60-46 league win over Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY).
