Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix (Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Achievement First (Hartford, CT), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Ellington (Ellington, CT) to play the Knights in a North Central Connecticut bout on Friday, January 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Ellington won 65-7 in their recent league bout against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT)
