Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Washington Eagles (Houston, TX), 52-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Bend Clements upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Katy Taylor (Katy, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Katy Taylor won 63-21 in their recent non-league bout against Sharpstown (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Reagan Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 73-63 non-league loss to Summer Creek (Houston, TX).
