Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Glenn Bobcats (Bay City, MI), 60-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Swan Valley upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI) to play the Bearcats in a Tri-Valley - East bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Bridgeport lost 49-38 in their recent league bout against Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Sunday, February 6. Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Dukes go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 54-47 league loss to Alma (Alma, MI).
