Maine High School Basketball - Gray-New Gloucester fells North Yarmouth Academy
January 8, 2010: Yarmouth, ME 04096 Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME), 56-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gray-New Gloucester upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to play the Rangers in a B West bout on Tuesday, January 12. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Greely won 63-51 in their recent league bout against York (York, ME)
Next up, the Panthers play the Kents Hill School Huskies (Kents Hill, ME) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 11. North Yarmouth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 57-31 non-league win over Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, MA).
