The Penn Hills Indians basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Moon Area Tigers to 34 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.

The Indians now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway for a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. Penn Hills will play a Gators squad coming off a 60-27 league loss to Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Gators record now stands at 2-11.

Next up, the Tigers play the Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Moon Area will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 63-42 non-league loss to Montour (McKees Rocks, PA).
