February 2, 2024: Eugene, MO 65032 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eugene Eagles (Eugene, MO) and the visiting California Pintos (California, MO), saw Eugene's basketball squad wallop California by a tally of 57-32.
With the victory, Eugene improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fatima (Westphalia, MO) to confront the Comets in a ShowMe challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Fatima won 72-42 in their recent league challenge against St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO)
Next up, the Pintos confront the Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO) in a Tri-County - Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. California will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 49-48 league win over Blair Oaks (Jefferson City, MO).
