The Decatur Eagles topped the host Sanger Indians basketball team by a final score of 74-55 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 game, on Tuesday, January 21. Decatur will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Leopards enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 54-53 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).

With the defeat, Sanger moves to 12-12 on the year. The Indians travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to face the Steers in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Steers enter the game with a record of 2-12. Graham lost 75-36 in their recent league outing against Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX)
