Ankeny Centennial Jaguars (Ankeny, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), 81-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ankeny Centennial upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to play the Rams in a Central Iowa Metro - East bout on Friday, December 9. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Southeast Polk lost 69-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mason City (Mason City, IA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Marshalltown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 75-35 non-league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA).
