Texas High School Basketball - Kennedale tops Springtown
December 29, 2018: Springtown, TX 76082 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) and the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX), saw Kennedale's basketball squad knock off Springtown by a count of 75-60.
With the victory, Kennedale upgrades its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge on Wednesday, January 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Dunbar won 58-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanger (Sanger, TX)
Next up, the Porcupines play the Poolville Monarchs (Poolville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 2. Springtown will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 58-36 non-league win over City View (Wichita Falls, TX).
