Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) and the host Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), saw Branham's baseball squad knock off Leland by a count of 11-5.

Coming up next, the Bruins play the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 7. Branham will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.

The Chargers now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Altos for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 2. Leland will play a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 league loss to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-10.
