New Jersey High School Basketball - Morristown-Beard holds off Voorhees
February 21, 2019: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) and the host Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ), saw Morristown-Beard's basketball squad hold off Voorhees by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Morristown-Beard improves its record to 7-17 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to West Side (Newark, NJ) to confront the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 22. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. West Side won 63-62 in their recent league challenge against Central (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Vikings confront the West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 26. Voorhees will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 22-4 record after their 57-50 league win over Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ).
