Milton Panthers (Milton, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Jaguars (Milton, FL), 41-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milton upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Escambia (Pensacola, FL) to clash with the Gators in a 6A District 1 bout on Thursday, January 6. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Escambia lost 44-43 in their recent non-league bout against Booker T. Washington (Pensacola, FL)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 6. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 48-17 non-league loss to Arnold (Panama City Beach, FL).
