Michigan High School Basketball - Mid Peninsula knocked off by Carney-Nadeau
January 12, 2023: Rock, MI 49880 The Carney-Nadeau Wolves basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Mid Peninsula Wolverines to 48 in the Wolves league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolves now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Munising for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Carney-Nadeau will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 64-61 non-league win over Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-0.
The Wolverines (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Powers, MI). The Jets enter the Central Upper Peninsula contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, North Central ran past Rapid River (Rapid River, MI), 74-51, in a non-league contest.
