February 16, 2019: Columbus, IN 47201 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) and the visiting Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN), saw Columbus East's basketball squad overcome Martinsville by a tally of 50-31.
With the victory, Columbus East improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Olympians host Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN) to confront the Highlanders in a Hoosier Hills challenge on Wednesday, February 20. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 21-2. Floyd Central won 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN)
Next up, the Artesians confront the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 20. Martinsville will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 47-43 league win over Noblesville (Noblesville, IN).
