Kentucky High School Softball - Trigg County bounces Hopkins County Central
April 16, 2024: Madisonville, KY 42431 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) and the host Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY), witnessed Trigg County's softball squad prevail over Hopkins County Central by a count of 13-2.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Livingston Central for a District 5 match on Thursday, April 18. Trigg County will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Hopkins County Central moves to 8-17 on the season. The Storm travel to McLean County (Calhoun, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, April 18. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 2-11. McLean County lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Ohio County (Hartford, KY)
