Illinois High School Basketball - St. Teresa fells Heyworth
February 6, 2024: Decatur, IL 62526 St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL), 49-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Clinton (Clinton, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 19-11. Clinton won 61-29 in their recent non-league bout against Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL)
In their next game, the Hornets face the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a Heart Of Illinois game, on Thursday, February 8. Heyworth will attempt to move on its 7-22 season record. The Bunnies enter the game with a 11-18 record after their 52-34 league loss to Tremont (Tremont, IL).
