May 13, 2024: Branford, CT 06405 Branford Hornets (Branford, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Branford upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Hornets travel to North Haven (North Haven, CT) to battle the Nighthawks in a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic test on Tuesday, May 14. The Nighthawks come into the test with a record of 10-8.
