North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 29. North Pocono will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA).

The Buckhorns now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 27. Wallenpaupack Area will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-3.
