In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ritchie County Rebels basketball team scored a good 68-58 triumph over the Braxton County Eagles.

In their next game, the Rebels meet the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) in a Little Kanawha - West match, on Wednesday, December 13. Ritchie County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 56-52 league win over Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV).

With the defeat, Braxton County moves to 0-2 on the year. The Eagles host Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV) to meet the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12.
