The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) and the host Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA), saw North DeSoto's softball squad nip Sterlington by a count of 5-4.

The Griffins now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton for a 4A District 1 match on Saturday, March 13. North DeSoto will face a Tigers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.
