Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Franklin over Shrewsbury
October 15, 2011: Franklin, MA 02038 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) and the visiting Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA), saw Franklin's volleyball team overcome Shrewsbury by a score of 3-0.
The Panthers now have a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Attleboro for a Hockomock game on Tuesday, October 18. Franklin will confront a Bombardiers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA). The Bombardiers record now stands at 0-16.
The Colonials (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Tomahawks enter the Midland-Wachusett A game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Algonquin Regional gained a win over North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA), 3-1, in a league game.
