Massachusetts High School Basketball - Monson fells Hampden Charter School of Science West
February 6, 2023: Monson, MA 01057 Monson Mustangs (Monson, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hampden Charter School of Science West Lions (West Springfield, MA), 70-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monson upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Ware (Ware, MA) to play the Indians in a Bi-County - West bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Ware lost 62-41 in their recent league bout against Springfield Renaissance (Springfield, MA)
Next up, the Lions play the Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Hampden Charter School of Science West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 60-57 non-league loss to Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA).
