January 27, 2023: North Chelmsford, MA 01863 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chelmsford Lions (North Chelmsford, MA) and the visiting Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA), saw Chelmsford's basketball squad hold off Lowell by a tally of 59-54.
With the victory, Chelmsford improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Lawrence (Lawrence, MA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. Lawrence won 76-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Boston College High (Boston, MA)
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Lowell will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Middies come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 72-62 league loss to Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA).
