Texas High School Basketball - Valley Mills nudges McGregor
November 14, 2023: McGregor, TX 76657 Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX), 49-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Mills upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Chilton (Chilton, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. McGregor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 69-22 non-league loss to Glenn (Leander, TX).
