October 1, 2016: South Burlington, VT 05403 In Saturday's league match, the visiting Hartford Hurricanes football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Rice Memorial Green Knights.
In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) in a Division I match, on Friday, October 7. Hartford will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 47-14 league loss to Rutland (Rutland, VT).
The Green Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Hilltoppers enter the Division I match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, St. Johnsbury Academy thwarted Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT), 52-26, in a league match.
