Ohio High School Basketball - Arcanum holds off Covington
December 29, 2023: Covington, OH 45318 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH) and the host Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), saw Arcanum's basketball squad hold off Covington by a tally of 60-57.
With the victory, Arcanum improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Houston (Houston, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Houston won 65-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradford (Bradford, OH)
Next up, the Buccs confront the Troy Christian Eagles (Troy, OH) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Covington will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 34-29 league loss to Northridge (Dayton, OH).
