Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kittatinny Regional upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Westwood (Washington Township, NJ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 1. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 22-6. Westwood won 70-38 in their recent non-league bout against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ)
