St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH), 9-4 in a non-league test.

The Fighting Irish now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Louisville for a Region 6 test on Friday, April 23. St. Vincent-St. Mary will face a Leopards squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 5-4.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 22. Canton Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Polar Bears come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH).
