Texas High School Soccer - La Vega overwhelmed by Davenport
January 13, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78266 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), saw Davenport's soccer squad triumph over La Vega by a margin of 6-0.
The Wolves now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lorena for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Davenport will play a Leopards team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Waco (Waco, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 3-1.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 23 outing, on Friday, January 20. La Vega will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
