December 30, 2022: Suwanee, GA 30024

Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA), 70-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Warriors host Creekview (Canton, GA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. North Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 57-36 non-league loss to Valdosta (Valdosta, GA).
