The Westview Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Chavez Champions to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Lutheran for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Westview will meet a Flames team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Veritas Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Flames record now stands at 1-2.

The Champions (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions enter the 5A Metro I game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Alhambra gained a win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
