Minnesota High School Basketball - Bemidji overwhelms Hibbing
December 19, 2023: Bemidji, MN 56601 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) and the visiting Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN), saw Bemidji's basketball squad wallop Hibbing by a count of 44-23.
With the victory, Bemidji upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Brainerd (Brainerd, MN) to play the Warriors in a AAAA Section 8 challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Brainerd lost 60-51 in their recent league challenge against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN)
Next up, the Bluejackets play the Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Hibbing will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bluestreaks come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 64-36 non-league loss to Ely (Ely, MN).
