New York High School Soccer - St. Mary's held off by St. Francis
October 4, 2021: Hamburg, NY 14010 The crowd at Monday's league test between the St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY) and the visiting St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY), saw St. Francis's soccer squad get by St. Mary's by a count of 1-0.
The Red Raiders now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a Msgr Martin test on Wednesday, October 6. St. Francis will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, St. Mary's drops to 3-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Nichols (Buffalo, NY) to meet the Vikings in a Msgr Martin test on Wednesday, October 6. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-5. Nichols lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Canisius (Buffalo, NY)
