The Benedictine Bengals basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Brookhaven Bearcats to 59 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bengals now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Edward for a non-league contest on Friday, January 8.

The Bearcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against McKinley (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, McKinley was nudged by St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH), 64-50, in a non-league contest.
