September 14, 2012: Marked Tree, AR 72365 In Friday's non-league game, the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) football team overwhelmed the host Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR), by a score of 52-6.
The Go-Devils (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dierks (Dierks, AR). The Outlaws come into the 2A Region 7 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Dierks trounced Poyen (Poyen, AR), 42-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a 2A Region 3 challenge on Friday, September 21. Marked Tree will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 34-28 non-league win over Mayflower (Mayflower, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-0.
