St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Niles Vikings (Niles, MI), 53-20 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Mattawan won 45-37 in their recent league bout against Central (Battle Creek, MI)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Niles will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 58-34 league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
