Ohio High School Basketball - Botkins tipped by Elida
January 7, 2023: Elida, OH 45807 The Elida Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Botkins Trojans to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluffton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Elida will meet a Pirates team coming off a 44-31 non-league win over Paulding (Paulding, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 8-5.
The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH). The Redskins enter the Shelby County contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Loramie was nudged by Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
