Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 59-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Decatur upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Wayne (Corydon, IA) to play the Falcons in a Pride of Iowa - East bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Wayne lost 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lenox (Lenox, IA)
