Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ), 55-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Hopewell Valley Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ) to play the Tornadoes in a Colonial Valley - Colonial bout on Friday, January 21. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Trenton Central won 66-32 in their recent league bout against West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Fisher Charter (Trenton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 19. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 30-22 league win over Katzenbach School for the Deaf (Trenton, NJ).
