The Albany Academy for Girls Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Cohoes Tigers to 27 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Ludden for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 5.

The Tigers (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY). The Indians enter the Section 2 Colonial contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk was routed by Schalmont (Schenectady, NY), 49-38, in a league contest.
