Massachusetts High School Basketball - Whitman-Hanson Regional holds off Dartmouth
February 25, 2010: Whitman, MA 02382 Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers (Whitman, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Whitman-Hanson Regional upgrades its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Sunday, February 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 19-3. Newton North won 75-51 in their recent non-league test against Franklin (Franklin, MA)
The Indians now own a 6-12 record.
