In Saturday's non-league outing, the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX), by a margin of 35-33.

The Greyhounds (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.
