The Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting International Panthers to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Plaquemines for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-9.

The Panthers (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Varnado (Angie, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Varnado was nudged by Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 53-44, in a league contest.
