California High School Lacrosse - El Modena drops to Los Alamitos
April 24, 2023: Los Alamitos, CA 90720 Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 22-3 in a non-league test.
The Griffins now have a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newport Harbor for a Sunset Surf test on Wednesday, April 26. Los Alamitos will face a Sailors squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 3-14.
In their next game, the Vanguards face the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) in a Crestview test, on Wednesday, April 26. El Modena will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 8-9 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Beckman (Irvine, CA).
