Michigan High School Basketball - Athens overwhelms Michigan Lutheran
December 13, 2021: St. Joseph, MI 49085 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Athens Indians (Athens, MI) and the host Michigan Lutheran Titans (St. Joseph, MI), saw Athens's basketball squad wallop Michigan Lutheran by a tally of 51-30.
With the victory, Athens improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Waldron (Waldron, MI) to confront the Spartans in a Southern Central challenge on Wednesday, December 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Titans confront the Lawrence Tigers (Lawrence, MI) in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge, on Thursday, January 6. Michigan Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
