Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Williamsport holds off Hollidaysburg
January 31, 2024: Williamsport, PA 17701 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) and the visiting Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA), saw Williamsport's basketball squad hold off Hollidaysburg by a tally of 37-36.
With the victory, Williamsport improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Millionaires host North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-2.
Next up, the Golden Tigers confront the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Hollidaysburg will attempt to improve on its 15-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 54-40 league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
