The Ashbrook Green Wave the host Lake Norman Charter softball squad by a final score of 8-5 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Green Wave (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions go into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Shelby was routed by Crest (Shelby, NC), 10-0, in a league battle.
