In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils baseball team scored a nice 15-4 victory over the San Manuel Miners.

The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ). The Eagles go into the 1A South contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Desert Christian was overwhelmed by Baboquivari (Sells, AZ), 10-9, in a league contest.

The Miners now sport a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Superior for a 1A East contest on Tuesday, April 12. San Manuel will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 4-14.
